Step 1: Get Rid of Junk Food in Your House

The worst thing we can do when looking to eat clean and burn fat is come home to a kitchen full of junk food.  If you live alone, throw away or donate all junk-y food that does not fit your 5 Day Metabolic Boost Plan.  If you live with others, "claim" space as solely yours in the fridge, freezer and cupboards.  This is where your 5 Day Metabolic Boost foods will go.  No one else can touch them.

Step 2: Tell Your Friends and Family That You Are Doing This

It's hard to make clean eating changes alone.  However, the mindset I often times hear clients adopt is, "I don't want anyone to know I am doing this in case I fail/don't lose weight/fall off the wagon/etc."  Well, I can tell you from experience, lack of social support when making nutritional changes will set you up for failure.  Instead, ask for support and help from your family, loved ones, friends, roommates, coworkers, etc.  It is much easier to make nutrition changes when your family and friends are on board to help and encourage.

Step 3: Go Grocery Shopping Now

Now that you have spaced cleared out and the social support you need, go grocery shopping today.  Get all the food you will need to be successful on this 5 Day Metabolic Boost.  This may mean going to both your regular grocery store and a health food store so please plan accordingly.
